REGULAR TRAINING LAB- From Intuition into Action

6 weeks from 23 June- 30 July 2009, twice a week

After a great workshop in May thanks to the Dojo Kokugikan and with the help of Minako Seki Co and due to the positive response there will be from June onwards an ongoing training with Elías Cohen. A continuous exploration "From Martial Arts to Physical Theatre" (Training Lab) . We will work and deepen twice a week the skills and qualities as precision and flexibility of movement embedded in efficient and concrete body-mind principles deriving from Martial Arts to go into improvisation and composition.

WHEN: TUESDAYS 20.00- 22.00, THURDAYS 18.00- 20.00

INTENSIVE WORKSHOP ON BODY WEATHER TRAINING & MANIPULATIONS
5 Days from 22 - 26 July 2009

A complete and demanding body- mind training originally created by Japanese dancer/choreographer Min Tanaka. For the last 12 years Elias Cohen has developed it further in Denmark, India and South America, putting special emphasis on image work, coordination, and speed/precision partially deriving from martial arts and Classical Indian Dance (Bharata Natyam).

3-28 August 2009 OUR INTENSE COURSE "EXPERIENCING, OBSERVING, DOING"

We are also in the process of organizing our upcoming Intense course> in Berlin. It will take place from 3-28 August 2009. Redefining and encountering new perspectives on performative arts by diverse, multiple approaches and a strong fundament in practice and theory is the overall content.
