Elías Cohen [Chile]

Artistic Director / Founder of KiM

Director, dancer, paedagogue. He did his studies in theater and dance in Denmark (School of Stage Arts, Academy for Experimental Dance), Israel (Arie Byrstein Contact Dance Studio) and India (Bharatanjali, Indian Classical Dance School). Since 1999 he has developed his work as senior lecturer at Chilean universities and giving workshops and seminars abroad about physical theater and oriental theater. His work as theater director and dancer is based on very precise theatrical choreographies through a synthesis of various body languages.He won several times the Chilean National Fond and Andes Fond to realize his projects in India, Europe and South America. Post studies in Transpersonal Psychology at Universidad Católica de Chile and Biology of Knowledge at the Matriztic Institute, Chile.

Se-Rok Park [Berlin / Korea]

Co- Artistic Director of KiM

Has worked as a vocalist, performer, actress and teacher in the UK, Germany, Korea, Canada and South America. Se-Rok received her MA in Classical Acting in London, after having studied Classical Western and Korean vocal traditions as well as vocal/ body work influenced by Grotowski’s method. Her current performance works connect the vocal and corporeal by physical means as well as bridging diverse cultural, musical and theatrical backgrounds. In her voice/ body research she continues to investigate and facilitate the performer’s tools and craft through interdisciplinary performance approaches.

Minako Seki [Berlin / Japan]

Co- Director of the Berlin Post School

Dancer, choreographer, director and teacher, belongs to the 3rd Generation of Butohdancer. She danced in Tokyo with “Dance Love Machine” and developes since 1987 in Berlin an own style of dancetheatre, which she calls “Dancing Between“.

Shai Faran [Israel]

Dancer/ Gaga instructor



Shai started her professional dance studies at "Haifa work-shop for dancers and choreographers". She is a member of "Sigma Ansanble", Haifa, directed by choreographer Michael Miler. She has also created own pieces for which she received scholarships from the American Israeli cultural foundation and the Ehud Manor choreography scholarship. She did her Gaga teachers training with Batsheva dance company.

Max Schumacher [Berlin / New York]

artistic director / dramaturge of Posttheater

Schumacher studied dramaturgy at Humboldt University Berlin and holds a MA in performance studies at New York University. He founded the company post theater in New York in 1999. His pieces toured to Germany, USA, Korea, Singapore, Austria and Serbia and have been invited to several international festivals. Max Schumacher curates all performing arts for Rohkunstbau (with festivals in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006), a Brandenburg based festival, and teaches in various contexts (e.g. workshops recently in Ljubljana, Zagreb and Tokyo). He was awarded several times with the Capital City Culture Funds Berlin.

Nayoung Kim [Korea / Wuppertal]

Dancer, Choreographer. After her studies in South Korea and at Folkwanghochschule, Essen 1990, she worked at Tanztheater Kassel with Christina Horbath, and from 1993 with Pina Bausch at Folkwang Tanzstudio, then, from 1996 as part of the Pina Bausch Tanztheater. Nayoung Kim has also choreographed own pieces in Berlin, Essen and Seoul LG Arts Center et al.
