Tuning the VocalBody
5-Day Workshop with Se-Rok Park (Berlin/ Korea) in Santiago de Chile
23 January- 28 January 2012
In the work with the VocalBody it is to acquire tools and gain understanding of the fundamental connections and principles to envision the entity of voice and body of the performer. The base of this workshop constitutes in rigorous physical training as well as fine-tuning our body as an instrument to move into our vocal realms. Diverse methodologies are blended together to create a personal and unique approach to one’s VocalBody – preparing the path to perform in one’s fullest creative potential and absolute presence. We will be working through subtle body work practices influenced by Klein Technique, Qi Gong breath work, other movement/ dance methods which are developed on a constant base in the KiM lab and vocal approaches deriving from traditional Korean music. Diverse musical ways enable us to opening up to spoken language and thus, re-inventing and re-encountering words and speech. For more info contact us: pyhsicaltheater@gmail.com
